More than one person should not be requesting the same title. Please coordinate amongst each other. Duplicate requests will be cancelled.
When submitting an ILL request, if you only need to verify a few pages of a book, you do not have to request the entire book. Submit a photocopy request for the pages you need scanned. You'll receive your request much faster!
Books requested for the Law Reviews can be put on reserve behind the Circulation Desk. Please note, any book that is requested via ILL or CNY will remain on the original requester's account until it is returned to the lending library.
Searching for a book
Please make sure to search the Pace library catalog first. Any material that is available at a Pace library cannot be requested via ILL. You can search the catalog by title, author or ISSN.
Material that is available at either the NYC Campus library (Birnbaum) or the Pleasantville campus library (Mortola), can be requested directly through the library catalog. Simply select the "Request" button located above the catalog search bar. You will be asked to enter your name and U number. You will receive an email once your book arrives and is ready for pick up from the circulation desk.
If you are unable to find the book in the library catalog, you can either check the ConnectNY catalog or submit an ILL request via ILLiad. When submitting an ILL request, please provide as much information as possible.
Searching for an article
The law library has a large selection of journals online and in print. In order to download these articles, you will have to be on campus or use VPN.
To search for journals, you can either search the library catalog by journal title or select "Print and E-journals" from the Quick Links box on the library homepage.
If you are unable to find the article you are searching for, you can submit an ILL request via ILLiad. Make sure to select the photocopy option and provide the complete citation. You will be notified via email when your article request has been filled.
