The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is responsible for protecting public health and the environment through the provision of clean drinking water, collection and treatment of wastewater, reduction of air, noise, and hazardous materials pollution.

From New York Law School, provides access to administrative decisions from NYC agencies.
New York City Department of Environmental Protection
Contains forms, links, educaitonal materials, and guidance on NYC environmental rules.
New York City Environmental Control Board
An administrative tribunal responsible for holding hearings on notices of violation issued by city agencies. Provides links to the main OATH website and information about violations and hearings.
New York City's Mayor's Office of Environmental Coordination
Established by Section 192(e) of the New York City Charter, the Mayor's Office of Environmental Coordination (MOEC) assists City agencies in carrying out their environmental review responsibilities. The office also coordinates with other state and federal agencies.
New York City Office of Environmental Remediation
Administrative agency responsible for brownfields remediation and development.
